Why doesn’t this deodorant seem to work as well as my antiperspirant roll-on?
If you’re making a big switch from conventional antiperspirants to deodorant, your body might need time to adjust. There is a transition time when you first switch to a deodorant, sometimes up to a few weeks. Carry your deodorant with you and apply throughout the day until you’re fully acclimated.
How is deodorant different than antiperspirant?
Antiperspirants contain aluminum. In short: It prevents you from sweating. The function of aluminum in conventional antiperspirant formulas is to essentially plug your sweat glands, which in turn keeps you dry. Deodorants, on the other hand, work to neutralize the smell of body odor.
